Meet Justin and Wes

Justin Sigars and Wes Carroll are not only the creators of BodSAT, they are the teachers.

In their words:

It may sound like a common story. “We started the company because we thought we could do a better job of putting students first.” We don’t doubt that many a company started with that sort of intention, but we’ve seen far too many fail in practice.

In our private practices, we started noticing a trickle (soon to become a stream) of dissatisfied graduates of existing SAT prep programs. Our plan for handling these students hasn’t changed much since we started BodSAT in 2006: pool our expertise, create a fantastic seminar experience that respects both our students’ extreme ability and their over-packed schedules, and then teach it ourselves. Why create a company and then give the best job away to your employees? (Plus, it would be virtually impossible to find teachers who, like us, have thousands of hours experience teaching the SAT to gifted students. Leading a BodSAT seminar requires nothing less.)

Our motive is simple: we’ve loved teaching all our lives. And we’ve found that we particularly love teaching this stuff to these kids.
